Skip the uphill hike and catch a lift to the top, then bomb down the groomed lanes as fast as you dare in a high-speed snow tube. Woolly's Tube Park is all-time fun for all ages with a large snow play area and a heated deck with snack bar offering hot cocoa and adult beverages.
Children must be at least 42" tall to snow tube.
The snow play area is packed with big fun for even the littlest ones. Start with a snowman, shred on a surf sled and top it off with a tube ride on Woolly's Merry-Go-Round.
Enjoy the heated comfort of a luxury snowcat tour up to one of Mammoth's most scenic spots where you can take in the spectacular views of Mammoth Mountain, the Minarets, Ritter Range and beyond. At the vista, toast to the landscape and enjoy a spread of delicious eats. Each snowcat holds up to 12 people. Both tours are approximately two hours.
Free on-mountain ski/snowboard tours are available at Mammoth and June Mountain, as well as snowshoe tours from the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center. All tours are offered most weekends and holidays Dec 14 – April 21, weather and conditions permitting.

Explore the Mammoth Lakes Basin on cross-country skis or snowshoes for some scenic family adventures or butt-kicking fun across 19+ miles (30+ kilometers) of secluded, groomed world-class trails. Rentals, lessons, guided tours and season passes are available from the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center, located at Tamarack Lodge.
